Alison’s varied career has spanned both public and private sectors and has involved living and working in Africa, Australia and Hong Kong as well as in the UK. Initially training in healthcare management she then joined IBM as part of their Management Development. Her career developed through sales into general management and has included setting up and running an Outplacement business in Hong Kong. Her 20 years experience in developing people has been complemented with various non-executive positions including seven years as Chairman of an NHS Trust. Alison’s passion for developing people continues and she coaches senior executives from a wide spectrum of backgrounds to develop and realise their potential. She also provides career counselling and interview coaching to individuals going through a period of transition in their careers. In addition she has supported organisations in developing their staff in a number of different areas including leadership development, life coaching and mentoring, and communications training.
Alison has a masters degree in Healthcare Management and is a licensed Insights® Practitioner.
